Truth is I always knew I was meant to motivate and empower others and I was a powerful, passionate, and smart woman. But I didn’t know in what capacity or how to create the life that would enable me to feel fulfilled, happy and free.
What I didn’t realize was I had been preparing to live my purposeful life my whole life. I’ve always been driven and followed my own path and what I wanted to do. When I decided I wanted something, I didn’t stop until I got it. I’ve always had compassion for people and the gift of intuition. Helping people discover their innate power and realize what they are capable of is what I’ve done all my life.
Because of my passion for people, they are drawn to me. In college my roommates and friends would schedule time to talk with me about their issues and I’d coach them through resolving their problem. When I joined the workforce, I’d find myself coaching and counseling my co-workers. Even in the grocery store or out and about, strangers would come up to me and tell their story seeking guidance and encouragement. We all hunger for encouragement.
I spent the next 15 years striving to live my best life with a false sense of true success. I got married, had two kids, a great job, and we had a successful business. On the outside everything looked great, but I was struggling with self-doubt, low confidence, and paralyzing fear. I hid behind the comfort of my job. I allowed fear to make me a prisoner of my happiness and jeopardized our business to the point we had to close down.
I knew I had so much more to give and so much more I was supposed to be doing. I just didn’t know how to get around the fear and doubt. What I did know was nothing changes if nothing changes. Growth happens outside your comfort zone. I went on this journey of exploring the depths of me, connecting with my inner being, strengthening my faith, and learned to trust myself. With this transformation, I remembered what I was passionate about. That was to help people like me who were suffering in silence and allowing the fear: fear of failure, fear of success, fear of change, fear of rejection, fear of not being good enough, and the fear of not knowing what to do to cause them to live beneath their potential.
You have to take control of fear and not let it control you.
We have the power to have the life we desire if only we harness it. I cultivated the courage to do just that. Fear and comfort no longer controlled me. I created new habits, new beliefs, and new mindsets. Changing my mind made all the difference.
Change your thoughts and you change your life.
Now I help women and men cultivate their own version of their best life…let go of their limiting beliefs… live their deeper truth… define their own success in all areas.
